I had the pleasure of knowing Guy for more than 30 years, starting way back in the eighties where I was working for NTP and Guy and his brother had the company Elliott Brothers, doing radio projects for the BBC and others. We both moved on to video, and for both of us it was a nice surprise that our lines crossed again when Guy was working in Leitch and I with Danmon. Things develop, and suddenly we became colleagues when Guy accepted to be the MD in ATG in Broadcast. What started as business, soon developed to friendship. For me, it has been a great pleasure to know Guy for all these years. We have meet a couple of times a year the main trade shows, and I have always enjoyed Guys happiness and genuine warmth, latest at the BVE 2016 for a wonderful evening together with good industry colleagues. My thoughts go to Guys Family, please accept my deep condolences for your loss. Guy, we will miss you. Peter Thomsen
